I don't know about everyone else but the new health regeneration system is kinda confusing so I have a little tip and perhaps others will contribute.
if you want some free health, go into Doc Mitchell's house in Goodsprings and drink from his sink which doesn't contain radiation. also you can just hold down A (at least for 360) until your health is full and be on your merry way. i believe in F3 you had to continue tapping the button to get your health up, but not anymore!
hopefully other people have some cool tricks in a crazy bug ridden game (but still enjoyable!)
