Which major faction will you align yourself with?
Like to be a wanderer, NCR if it isn't too confining. I have a hard time being a bad guy and enjoying it. That might kill all three , for all I know. Of course, there is all the smaller gangs. The brotherhood of steel struck me as arrogant in Fallout 3, but once we started talking, they wern't so bad. If it's not the same deal....
ANARCHY FOREVER!

Wait, they announced the brotherhood of steel was gonna appear in this game? I thought they were gonna avoid them and focus on new factions.
" @JustTheDoctor said:They're a very small faction. From everything I've seen, it looks like they're located in a small bunker, with a few outside patrols." @bybeach said:Wait, they announced the brotherhood of steel was gonna appear in this game? NCR first, I do not truck with guys who support slavery under any circumstances. Whether or not I'll still be aligned with NCR by the end, I dunno. Depends on how well they come off as I play. I am looking forward to meeting the Followers of the Apocalypse again though, they were some of the most genuinely 'good guys' in the first two games.
NCR first time through for sure, tho. Got mad history with those dudes going all the way back to saving Tandi from the raiders outside Sandy Shades in Fallout 1. Plus, it's the only somewhat stable nation-state that the fallout America (world?) has to offer.
I'm going to have to go with Caesar's Legion. I dig the faux Roman trappings, their ability to bring the wastes to some degree of order, and I don't like the NCR because they are forcefully taking control of everything in the region. Plus I can't say no to a man in a skirt.
On subsequent playthroughs I'll deal with all the other groups. I think we all know we're going to play this game a few times.
lol I guess I'll be with NCR too on my 1st playthrough. the Brotherhood may also be an option but since this is the west coast Brotherhood that are straight up arrogant to outsiders, I might favor NCR much more and besides if any of you read Chris Avellone's Fallout Bible didn't the Brotherhood lose the war to NCR? :D

I'm not really sure who I would line up with but I'm leaning towards NCR. That armor looks pretty sweet.
" Don't give a f***, faction systems are boring as hell, thanks for limiting the things I can do and missions I can undertake as much as possible Obsidian! "The faction system actually gives a GENUINE incentive to replay the game and go through whole separate quest lines. It also makes sure that your choices have a real effect on the game and what you can and can't do.
