The Fallout franchise is a post-apocalyptic series of role-playing and tactics games originally developed by Black Isle, and most recently, Bethesda Softworks and Obsidian Entertainment.
Europe could be cool but it may be too much work to create it. On the other hand there would be like no rules and almost no connection to original games so it may be for the best.
Really would like to see how other areas of the world deal with the nuclear apocalypse, so I'm saying Europe.
Fallout is a US centric universe. Its focused on what the US was like after World War II, everything is styled around that. The culture of the existing Fallout Universe is very American. Going to Europe wouldn't be in the spirit of the other games. There would be no vaults, no enclave. It would be kinda weird. (No Vault boy!) We dont even know for sure that Europe or anywhere else is a nuclear Wasteland.
Im not saying im against it, theres just no precedent for it, to go from not even mentioning the world outside to US to placing a game in the middle of Africa would be a huge game change. I would vote for New York because I really enjoyed exploring the more guided open world in the urban areas of the DC wasteland.
I want an entire Fallout game that is similar to Point Lookout from the Fallout 3 DLC. I loved the atmosphere of it and spent most of my time there. Also the Civil War weapons were fun to use and my character is still rocking a Civil War soldier cap.
New York seems like the obvious choice. Fallout is a reflection of mid 1950's America, moving it to another country would just be weird. Maybe make it a road trip? Have a few smaller, but varying zones as you cross from west to east or something.
