    The sequel to the original Far Cry dispenses with Jack Carver, and moves the action to a war-consumed Africa complete with an open-ended storyline involving civil war, several hours of missions, heated gunplay, and a slew of dynamic elements powered by a new engine.

    Everything works fine...except....(PC version)

    Edit: sorry, I accidentally made the thread without a body...

    Anyway, everything is smooth and the like but I'm getting a strange graphical glitch. Most of the character models spawn with distorted facial positions. Most either have their eyes literally coming out of their heads, or lips are clipped back behind gums, it's a mess. Any news on a fix?
    Specs if needed: 8800GT in SLI (178.13 Drivers), 5600+ @ stock speed, 2 gigs of ram, XP 32-bit

    No prob- in relation to your problem - im running an 8800 card too, cant say for sure  what your problem is (yet to get far cry 2)
    Which drivers are you using - they released a 'power pack' not long ago for the 8800 that kinda prepped it for the upcoming 'big' games, it could be related to that.

    *scurries off to find info on that darn pack*

    I'm using 178.24 (I think that's what you mean) and get no problems.

    PS. Bolt action rifle is top tier.

    yeah, new drivers worked. Thanks for the help, and I hope to god I get that bolt action soon hehehe.
