Wow, personally, this is a flop to me. The two websites I trust gave it AA. I was hyping it AAA. Oh well, still getting it.

The majority love the originality, freedom for players and atmosphere, but some shoddy A.I., heavy driving sections and a few minor graphical glitches have seen it marked down in places.

I for one can't wait for a Trip Across The Savannah............. ;)

I was surprised about the A.I, they were fine in the 20 something videos I watched. Graphical glitches? If this applies to the PC aswell I can see PC gamers blaming consoles for a "dumbed down" game."

A flop? Are you kidding me...? Those scores are brilliant scores.

It used to be that a 7 was considered a flop (even though a 7 is way above average). Now we're starting to see the trend shift that an 8 or 9 is a flop. Ludicrous. These are some of the best scores you'll see this holiday period beyond the "big titles" (Gears, LBP, Fable, etc).

But in all honesty FarCry2 looks to be the sex, honestly really looking forward to this game and have been for a long time now. That fire animation just looks amazing, i could sit and watch the savannah burn for hours."

I want to get it but I wish it was a bit better.  Still, looks awesome and pretty optimistic reviews over all.

This is one game that it will get even if the review are bad for one reason only, Ubisoft Montreal. I live here, heck i know were the building is and how to get there by car and public transportation. Guess is my way to keep the game studio in my city alive. I'm glad it getting good review.

Reviews look good to me and will be getting it when things quiet down a bit on the release front cause theres a t onne of stuff I'd like to play and this isn't quite on top of the list.
And what the heck? When did something like 8 or 8.5 become an unacceptable score? 8's are good. 7's aren't too shabby either. Things only start looking "meh" in my books around the 6 mark.
That said I'll generally play something if it looks neat regardless of what a review says or scores and this looks neat.

I still think it is ground breaking and awesome.

Maybe the P.C. version is better than the console ports.

I'm a score hound, that must be why I thought Area 51 Blacksite was better than Call of Duty 4. Yeah okay bud. Plus, I'm not being critical of the game, fuck for all I know it's amazing, and expecting reviews in the 9's ins't crazy, Fable 2 got reviews that high."

The reviews didn't put me off and I ordered the game as I was intending too. They aren't super high like many were expecting, but the scores are pretty damn good.

Honestly..no matter the game, stop thinkin everything that looks amazing, has to be hailed as "AAA"....some of the best games I've ever played , on top of the term not existing back then, all that makes a game AAA nowadays is people who hype it to be so. That statement makes no sense what so ever, the game is getting fine review scores, and over 3 platforms I'm sure it will do ok financially, just not hands down amazing...I don't know how you could possible call this a flop just because you held your opinion of it higher than some reviewers did...this just in I LOVE THE GAME, if YOU play it and love it, thats all that matters.
