Maybe it's different on consoles or something but I'm confused about the saving.

So you've got the little cases on the walls with floppies that let you save, found anywhere of importance, and taking safe houses will give you your own save points.

But I can hit quicksave at any time, or save through the menu. I could see them making sense if you just had to walk by one or use it for a tiny second for a checkpoint system, but what's the point?

Not complaining or anything, just seems hella odd. I am enjoying it otherwise. Only thing is I wish dudes didn't take so many damn bullets to down, especially when they have a t-shirt on at the most.

I'm not aware of a quicksave on the console, but I haven't really looked for it.

There is no quicksave on consoles from what I've seen...which I find a bit annoying. I don't like the whole safe house thing in games.

Yeah thats the only reason they are on the walls there Rock, its a console specific thing, they can only save at those locations, its pointless for playing it on PC..guess they didn't feel a reason to remove it or anything, doesn't get in the way or anything, just kinda useless.

Yea, but if you just want to quit out at a random point you need to go find a save point first. I'm not the biggest fan of that kind of system.
