I just got confirmation from someone else who worked on the game that some kind of "awesome" DLC is coming, but he was being awfully cagey about it. Bastard. Hopefully it's soon, like in the next few weeks soon.

Are you talking about the Jurassic Park reference in the game? I definitely took notice of that, although I wouldn't go so far as to call that a confirmation. Was there something else I missed?

You said it. If I never play another game with a zombie in it I will be perfectly fine. They aren't even interesting, they are just slow moving cannon fodder.

The only proper DLC for Far Cry 3 would be an alternate ending where you come out of animus. I know this idea has probably been beaten to death on this forum, but when they talked about it on the bombcast i thought "holy shit, its perfect!".

Especially given the Co-op Left 4 Dead vibe I'm getting.

No! I am SOOOO (did I mention so) sick of everything 'zombie's'. That's the problem with everything. Something makes it big (or make's a splash per say) and then everything wants to put their hand in the cookie jar. I do agree that if Far Cry were to do that it would be unique in it's "own way." Same thing COD did with Zombie Nazi's. Everything (and everybody) add's their own spin on it, but when you get down to the root(s) of it, it's all the same exact thing. If you want to kill zombie's; go play a zombie game. If not.. Well take your pick.

Zombies would be okay but I don't really think they'd fit well into a massive jungle like Far Cry's. I'm with the other duders when I say Dinosaurs should rule the land.

@Turtlebird95: Seriously..after I started this thread and the idea of dinosaurs came up, I think that is a WAY better idea than zombies. Hopefully some DLC will get announced for this game pretty soon because I'm ready to go back to it!
