Far Cry: Primal has no purpose 0
I haven’t finished Far Cry Primal, but I feel like I’ve played it already. It occupies the same interim territory as something like Gears of War Judgment, but it doesn’t even get the series’ core action right. Trading firearms for prehistoric clubs and bows necessarily demands a dramatic shift in how the combat functions given that neither Far Cry 3 nor 4 had melee weapons, but they feel so awful that I found myself dreading having to use them. Review: Far Cry Primal – Brutal in the BC 1
Far Cry Primal is a perfect example of taking what works, implementing enhancements, and not subtracting from the formula. With scenes of absolute beauty, visceral brutality, and touching emotional notes, Primal does some interesting things and ultimately proves itself a valid and welcome offshoot to the series. Udam Bro? (Far Cry Primal Review) 0
If you have ever played the Far Cry series then you know how the game goes. End up stuck on an island and for some reason you are the only character who seems to be able to do anything to stop the bad guys and find ways to survive. Primal takes a very different spin on things as the previous games were focused on recent times and this one focuses in a completely different time period: 10,000 B.C.E. Whereas this opens up a whole new world of possibilities for Ubisoft, the developer and publisher....
