Installing...man im excited, and ive been pretty bummed about videogames in general the last few months.

I'm gonna pick this up tonight when they update the North American store. It's reassuring to hear some positive impressions.

Is there a demo up?
Interested in trying the game, but not sure if it's reallly my thing.  Definitely won't be buying it if I can't try it first.

Is there anyone who owns the game who can give their first impressions? I'm not completely sold on this game yet.

I have played a few multiplayer games and so far I love it! Its a bit chaotic but there is deff a lot of different ways to play and a lot of different strategies. Games can last a long time tho but it depends on the game type, i played one game that was about 40 min long.

I played 2 hours so far and it felt like I had been playing for 20 min. Loving it so far and it will get better when all the regions are launched.

Man, it seems recently i'm playing more downloadable games on my PS3 then full retail games and this looks to continue this trend

Yes the wait is killing me as well, I thought for sure that once I got home from the daily grind it would be here but I was wrong and I'd rather be at work than waiting impatiently for this to release!

Online matches are very laggy..  Single player is ridiculously short and there's no offline multiplayer.
Have to say, I'm pretty disappointed.  If you plan on playing online a lot, you'll probably get some fun out of it when the servers are fixed.  But if you're not much of an online person, stay well away.

Why the hell am I not playing this right now?  What time is the PSN Store updated?

Do people actually use mics in online matches or am I going to have no way to form a strategy with them?

The biggest difficulty I've had with this game so far is actually getting into a game. It would just load a really long time and then drop me back to the main menu, but I did finally manage to get into a game and complete the round.

I haven't really heard anyone using mics so far. I've heard a couple of random grunts, but no one discussing actual strategy. The battles are really chaotic and so far it seems like it just comes down to random chance who wins the round.
