I think the concept of Fate of the World sounds interesting, but I'm not sure whether I would enjoy the game. The only game I've played that is even remotely similar is Civilization V, and that's a bit of a stretch.

Anybody willing to give me their opinion of it? Or does anybody have a particularly explanatory video about the game they could link me to?

It's more of a card-selecting edutainment game than anything else, but it's still good fun. You're basically making a choice, seeing people hate it then doing what you can to make things better. If you want to play global environmental politics it's good fun and worth a couple quid :)

It seems like it could be fun but it's really hard to get into. The game does not do a great job of explaining mechanics and what you should be doing at any given time. I liked the idea but I just couldn't break into it when I gave it a shot.
