Overview

Fate/Unlimited Codes (sometimes stylized as "Fate/unlimited codes") is a 3D fantasy fighting game developed by Eighting (along with Type-Moon, cavia, and Basiscape) and released by Capcom for arcades (using PS2-based Namco System 246 hardware) exclusively in Japan on June 11, 2008.
It is a traditional fighting game spin-off of Type-Moon's 2004 visual novel Fate/stay night (and the second fighting game one after Fate/tiger colosseum).
It was later ported to the PlayStation 2 on December 18, 2008 and to the PlayStation Portable (as Fate/Unlimited Codes Portable) on June 18, 2009. While both were released exclusively in Japan in retail form, the PSP version was released outside of Japan (as Fate/Unlimited Codes) as a digital title on September 3, 2009 (in North America) and September 10, 2009 (in Europe). This version features simplified controls and other enhancements The overseas version was later delisted on June 12, 2012.
Characters
The original arcade version includes 13 playable characters, with 4 additional ones added in the console versions (three of which are unlockable and two of which are alternates of other characters).
