Overview
Federico, engaging Ezio in a chess match.Federico Auditore is the older brother of Ezio, Claudia, and Petruccio in the Assassin's Creed series. He lives with his family in the Palazzo Auditore in Florence, Italy. In the beginning of Assassin's Creed II, interaction with Federico is used as a tutorial scenario. Ezio engages in a fight against Vieri de' Pazzi, and Federico comes to Ezio's aid. After the fight ends, Federico tells Ezio to "loot" his fallen enemy's money and use it to pay for a doctor. Frederico and Ezio then have a race to the top of a church.
The following morning while Ezio is out running errands for his father Giovanni, Federico, his younger brother Petruccio and Giovanni are beaten by city guards and locked in prison. Though Ezio tries to save them, all three are hanged as part of the growing Borgia Templar conspiracy.
Cristina Memories
In Assassins Creed: Brotherhood, Federico plays a role in two memories. During Cristina Memory 1, he talks Ezio into speaking with a girl that Ezio thinks is "beautiful." After Ezio asks what her name is and only receives a smile in response, Federico encourages his brother by telling him that all was not lost, because he had made her smile; the girl will thus remember Ezio. Later in Brotherhood, during Cristina Memory 2, Ezio retrieves Federico's body in order to give him a proper burial.
Assassin's Creed: Lineage
In Assassin's Creed: Lineage, a series of short films meant to promote Assassin's Creed II, Federico is seen enjoying a dinner with his family. He also beats Ezio in a game of chess.
