Overview
Fenix Rage is a platformer developed by Costa Rican developer Green Lava Studios. It was originally released for PC on September 24, 2014, and is coming to PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita and Xbox One sometime in 2015. The game features over 200 levels spanning 9 worlds, each world featuring their own unique challenges and boss battle.
Story
Fenix's village is destroyed in an explosion that freezes everything in its wake except for Fenix and the mysterious Oktarus. Fenix must track down Oktarus to uncover why his village was destroyed in that icy explosion.
Gameplay
Players control Fenix, Fenix can infinitely jump and dash. The goal is to get Fenix to a blue door located somewhere in the level while avoiding enemies and pitfalls. Hitting an enemy or going off screen results in an instant death requiring the player to start the level over again, re-spawns happen instantaneously. Located in each level is a cookie, which is placed in a difficult to access area. These act as a collectible, players that collect enough cookies will be rewarded with cookie recipes to be used out of game. Each level has a par time, achieving a par time will reward the player with a star for that level. Also featured is a Challenge Mode, limiting the amount of dashes and jumps that Fenix can make.
