FIFA 11 Live Season (All Leagues): In-Depth, Football news
FIFA 11 prides itself in being an extensive sample of the footballing world, and Live Season enhances the already impressive roster. Footballers deal with a grueling season of ups and downs; they are forced to adapt to new systems, go on hot streaks, get injured, etc. Live Season highlights the dynamic world of football by changing the stats of players (for better or worse). While this system adds a new level of depth to the expansive FIFA world, it doesn't feel as consistent as I'd like an active representation of real-time soccer to be. Updates don't feel as timely as they should be, and don't always reflect what I saw that week in football (and I watch a lot of football). This could be related to EA's infamously unreliable servers, but it's only enough of a problem for me to complain for a sentence or two.
All in all, FIFA 11's Live Season DLC provides an even more enveloping experience for the die-hard football fan. If you want a pretty good representation of how teams and players are doing, it's definitely worth it.
