Final Destination is a stage that has appeared in every game in the Super Smash Bros. series, although it wasn't available for standard versus play until Super Smash Bros. Melee.
It is the most basic of all of the stages in each game, consisting of a single flat platform with no other platforms or obstacles that could present a tactical advantage.
Its usual appearance in single-player modes has been as the final stage of the standard single-player Classic Mode, where Master Hand awaits.
In Super Smash Bros. for 3DS / WiiU, all playable versus stages have an alternative form with a very similar layout to Final Destination, where all other unique stage features are turned off.
