An AI companion is a computer-controlled ally who follows and aids you through your adventures or who requires your protection. The AI companion's survival is often essential to game and story progression.
Action RPG (Action Role-Playing Game), also known as ARPG, refers to RPGs (role-playing games) that use direct, real-time, reflex-oriented, action combat systems, instead of the more abstract turn-based or menu-based battle systems.
First appearing in Final Fantasy XII, the ADB system is a cross between the ATB (Active Time Battle) system used in offline Final Fantasy games and the RTB (Real-Time Battle) system used in the online Final Fantasy XI.

Basilisks are small serpentine creatures that can kill adventurers with a single glance or turn them into stone. It is classically referred to as the "king of all snakes" and its name literally means "little king".
