There's something rotten in final fantasy 13...
I got halfway through final fantasy 12... and I remember a cactus man but nothing this crazyI'm guessing this is your first FF.
that's just crazy enough for me to get on board with it... JRPGs You've won me over@VisariLoyalist: They're called cactuar or cactrot. They've been around since 1994 in the series. They are quick and hard to kill, but usually yield some good rewards. They're sort of a joke, but they stuck.

Oh yeah man totally, those 20 hours I spent running down a hallway went by way too fast
I don't think that's a complaint made by long term FF fans, the only real difference between this and older final fantasy games is no overhead world map between dungeons, the games have always been as "linear" as 13 is but with some minor mechanic that makes it seem like there is a whole world to explore. but the games have always been get form point A to point B, now to point C, now to D and so on.

I wouldn't know, I gave up a fourth of the way through the 20 hour tutorial.
Yep, him and Tonberry are essential to any FF game.Cactaur is one of the best things in Final Fantasy. If anything he lifts the game up.
