This entry into the Final Fantasy universe is set in the worlds of Pulse and Cocoon. Players take control of multiple characters who are caught in a war between these worlds.
I dunno, Famitsu only gave it a 39/40 :P I'll get it eventually, but I won't play it until I've finished the previous Final Fantasies that I haven't gotten to yet. Yes, I am well aware they have nothing to do with each other.
For those of you that don't speak japanese (the majority) I would wait. Yes, this game is amazing, no, it's not something that you have to get now or risk a hydrogen bomb exploding in your kitchen, and no, it does not include any english VO/Subs. (the Asian(hong kong and wherever) version might, but I have the japanese version)

Yeah...I prefer Japaneses voice acting over english voice acting for my rpgs. But I want to know the story etc. So I guess I'll have to wait till I get my EU version :/
I watched hours of the game yesterday on live streams and it looks like the same game they have been making for 22 years with a new coat of paint which if I was a fan of the series would be great but it just looks boring ill stick with Dragon Age.
huh..well wasn't really interested in this game to begin with, but if I keep hearing that it's good I might just have to give it a go. When it's released on March 9th of course.

I've never eveer played through a whole FF game. I played maybe a quarter of FFVII but I might actualy be ready to give this a go. When it comes out for the 360 I may rent it for a few days and see if I want to buy it and continue.
Yeah....I'll either wait for it to come over here in English or until I'm bored with ME2. Whichever comes first. Considering how much time the first one ate up, it'll probably be the former.

Just use a guide to help you out. I heard the NA/EU theme song and it's some stupid R&B song, I heard that won't be in the JP version. NO WAY I'm playing a FF with R&B and crappy VA

1. Lightening is HAWT 2. Summoning Odin is AMAZING 3. Story seems kinda shitty at start but it builds up. 4. Graphics are good, had dreams about Lighting...it was that realistic. 5. Music is good, kind of music I have have sex with in the background. 5. SUMMONING ODIN!
So import a game that's very story intensive in a language most of us don't understand at all, why is your girlfriend in Japan and shipped you a copy of a game that just came out today? I'll wait until March. Besides, achievements, dog. OMG!

Nah, she shipped it before that and with speedy delivery. I got a Japanese bank account and she took care of most it. My brother got FF7 AC Blu-Ray the day after it came out in Japan as well. If you got the cash, it's not too hard to do.

So "Hawt" chicks, an apparently crazy good summoning cutscene, story takes awhile to get going, that is really all you can sell the game with? Sounds like a winner to me. . .

IT"S NOT A CUTSCENE! YOU SUMMON ODIN LIKE IN Final Fantasy XII, but it's way better! Dude, Odin turns into a horse and Lightning rides it and you can do big ass combos!
