    Hey all,

    I recently gave the FFXIV trial (steam) a go, and ended up hooked on it, and have since subscribed. I was wondering if anyone here is interested in giving it a try as a new player? I ask this for two reasons: 1) because I find that despite the community being generally really nice and friendly, I would much rather prefer to spend time with other people who are just figuring things out as well, and 2) due to a lack of foresight on my part I have registered under a mainly Japanese-speaking world (Radill in the Gaia servers). Number two is the main reason really -_- , but number one is super important too. I'm just more comfortable playing with a relatively smaller group of people where we stumble as a team and learn on the fly, rather than having a couple of really experienced players just walk us through.

    Just FYI:

    1) the steam trial, as the name suggests, is free and you can essentially play the game (with some social features being restricted) until the level 35 quests;

    2) I am currently living in Brunei (Southeast Asia, UTC+08.00) and the time difference can be quite large.

    If anyone is interested we can start a discord channel and take it further from there.

    Hope to hear from people soon!
