So what jobs would you like to see added to ffxiv for me It'd have to be the corsair I loved mine in ffxi and was a bit sad to not see them in ffxiv other then that I love this game.

Well, there'll be a Corsair-ish type class in due time because Musketeer is, for all intents and purposes, probably next in line to be implemented. The guild for it is already in Limsa Lominsa, and has been since the original release.

As for me, Red Mage is a job I'd love to see in there. The way they implement it could be interesting, as they could go the route it took in XI and be the debuffer class of choice, or go in an attack DPS role, and almost have it like a Fencer with an épée type of sword, with enhancing magicks for the weapon.

I know it won't happen because the XIV universe isn't really fit for it, but I would love to see a motherfucking gunblade class.

Thief/Rogue/Assasin/Ninja something like this.

I would like to see Red Mage. I enjoyed playing the class in XI and I'm a huge fan of the chapeau.

Blue Mage and Dancer would be my picks. I'm a fan of just really obscure, offshoot classes in MMOs.

Well that's only the artifact armor, it's not like it's the only armor you wear end game.

All those Garlean general dudes have gunblades, so I wouldn't rule it out completely.

For me it's Puppetmaster. It was by far my favorite class in FFXI, and probably my favorite RPG class period.

This, I was disappointed not to see a melee dex class.

I have to wonder if there ever will be, since the stat description clearly stats it only affects ranged damage. Not that it couldn't be modified if those classes were added.

A true Red Mage would be awesome but the caster group is already a highly contest group and some of the jobs already use a mix of what a RDM could do.

Thief/Ninja makes the most sense to me.

Puppetmaster and Engineer would be a close second.

Samurai and Ninja would both be cool.

Plus, vanity slots are coming within a few months after release.

@zeik: True but with the stat only being useful to Archers and Bards they've gotta do something with it, right? Maybe it's just adding more physical ranged attackers, but I'm holding out hope.

@warlordpayne: Oh, is that so? I don't think I payed close enough attention to that, or get far enough in any betas to recognize a gunblade. That's pretty rad then.

@esrever: Yeah, one of them has a gunblade, the rest have different types of gun weapons: Key Enemies

This completely. I am getting really excited to play this game again.

There's like, 5-6 boss in FFXIV with GunBlade, Lance-gun, Knuckle-gun, Shield-Gun and so on. So having one of this weapon down the line might not be that far fetched. Not sure about being a specific class though

I would love to see Blue Mage - my favorite job from FFXI. Really liked the animations and learning spells from monsters.

Spell Sword(Sword Mage) and Blue Mage, but not the weird versions they put in FFXI, give me the FF5 versions.

Give me the Superhero outfit Blue Mage from FF5 with the ability to take all monster skills including bosses

Instead of the weird tank they made them in FFXI.
