30 March 2016, 7PM PDT there will be a live stream done by Square Enix to reveal the release date for FFXV along with a bunch of other information.

They've booked the Shrine Auditorium for the event.

So its not just that the Kingdom Hearts team has been making the game but they are also making the trailers. That is some Kingdom Hearts ass font treatment in that teaser. With the music I was half expecting to hear Sora yell "Kairi".

This is in half an hour now. Here's a link to the Twitch stream and the Youtube Stream. The pre-stream with the community managers has already started. This pre-stream has mostly been about what the fans arriving at the event want to see from the event, but also they showed some official cosplayers and announced you will be able to pre-order official costumes of Noctis and Promto (from some clothing designer I didn't recognise) after the event (with more characters' produced if they sell out of these.

The LA venue is very pretty going by the stream. Also, far less people in cosplay than I would have thought (going by all the other Final Fantasy related things I've been too). For shame, audience.

This is the worst. What are they doing. I don't want to play this game because of this event.

I knew it was Florence and the Machine - I straight up googled to see if they did a cover. Vindicated! Better song than Leona Lewis's (who made a song for Final Fantasy XIII)

Also, this whole thing is super surreal. But I find this mix of personality-driven streams and PR conferences very interesting.

This is really bad, I turned it off. I just wanted to see a tad of the game, but I don't want to sit through whatever is happening. Christ it's Final Fantasy. That name means less now then it ever has. 12 and 13 were pretty bad, 14 1.0 was horribly, 14 2.0 was cool, and all the spin offs have been bad!

So much money and work for a game that could be bad. I really wanna play it and know firsthand, but I have no expectations.

I wish more games did things like this.
