    It's XII, VI, or possibly XIV depending on the mood.

    You know what, I'm just gonna go ahead and give this to XII. Underrated, underappreciated game.

    IX is my favorite Final Fantasy game. X and VII are close though

    My favorite is X, and I am of the school of thought that claims your personal favorite is always the first one that got you really invested.

    I also played 6, 7 and 8, and although I consider them good games, I never got past the half way point. 12 and 13 I got to complete, but I can't say I liked them.
