Fingerless Gloves

Overview

Unlike regular gloves, fingerless gloves have removed the fully covered fingered inserts with only the palm being concealed. Commonly used in physical activities to improve hand conditioning, they are also used for other purposes such as handling a firearm or for fashion reasons.

Popularity

Grand Theft Auto IV had recently been a case involving the fingerless gloves. During the promotion of the game, screenshots featured protagonist Niko Bellic with these kind of gloves. During the console releases of the game, the gloves were omitted from use causing some protests from players who wanted to wear them. By the release of the PC version it was possible to access the gloves by means of modifications of the game.
