    The Firelands was the added to World of Warcraft with the release of patch 4.2. It was originally intended to be released at the launch of the expansion but was delayed so that Blizzard could focus on other aspects of the game. The Firelands sees the return of the Firelord Ragnaros after his crushing defeat in Molten Core. This raid takes place both outdoors and indoors, the outdoor bosses present less of challenge and are tackled first by players raiding the Firelands.
