I personally favor the fog in Civ Rev i think it looks good and reveals things well

The one used in Dawn of War is the best in my opinion. Gives a great overlay of the environment and overall...works.

Advance Wars. Deceptively simple.

I like the Age of Empires 2 fog of war.
