A character page is for characters who are one of a kind, such as Mario or Master Chief. The is much more than one Goomba. Hell, you kill about 10 in the first level of Super Mario Bros. So, sign here if you want to put Goombas back where they belong.

Sorry man, I don't agree. Character might not be the best thing for it, but certainly moreso than a concept. Definatly (Did i spell that right?) would be good in a races section though, too bad there isn't one........ (*hint hint*)

A goomba is more a concept than it is a character.  Of course, it is more a race than it is either of those.  There absolutely should be a races section.

Did you know that in Japanese "Goomba" was what the Yakuza bosses called their henchmen? It means grunt or pawn I guess.

Yeah. The Goomba is like a race, a concept. Basically put races there until they manage to add in a "races" section.

I would think of a concept being something more general and in more games for example, a soldier or a super hero, but you do make a good point.

Headcrab falls into the same idea that I have and it is currently set as a concept so I agree with you.

what about Spartans?  Character or concept?  They too are a dime a dozen in all their sissy colors.
