I guess I am? It's been a verrry long time since they announced it though. Looks pretty promising though, although something looks slightly... off.

Fortnite Gameplay Leak
But that email said that this game does not exist!?
Seriously, that "stuff falling in place onto blueprints" looks really cool.
I really like the way that it looks like building works. I wonder how much everything costs or how obnoxious the f2p grind is.
I'm certainly interested in seeing more of the game.
I'm not sure how I feel about the art style personally, it looks nice but I feel like I've been seeing it a lot lately (probably just me). The construction system seems to be pretty easy to work with, but it's hard to say for sure without seeing more of the UI - this video might just be making it "look" easy through good editing.
Either way, as I said I'll be curious to see more as it's revealed. Thanks for bringing this to my attention!
@hammondoftexas: I moved this to the Fortnite forum - please use the game specific forums when starting new topics. Thanks.
That build is probably about a year old now. Graphics have had at least two update passes and the gameplay is similar but faster now.
It's a pretty good idea of how the basic game plays though. The build stuff is just like that.

But you just bumped a topic that is nearly three years old?
@mike: Yes but only because it contains video that I cannot regenerate (due to NDA). I only started playing about a year back and this video is very close to what I saw then. It's possible that the build originally was 3 years old but it looks like the build from last year visually and mechanically.
Mostly a relevant necro because it came up on the podcast today and people were asking questions about it.
@yothatlimp: If you want to group look me up. I have the same username.

I bet the build from the three year old video, has a build that is older than a year. I dont really follow your thought process, or why you bumped this thread.
i honestly forgot all about fortnite until this thread popped up. it just seems like a colorful tower defense game with some materials gathering and crafting thrown in. I don't get why it's taking so long. It looks like the sort of thing you see on the steam early access or indie games every few months and it no longer seems special as a UE4 title.
