Accessing non-Premium content without an API key

Does anyone know how the GBVB and Luchadeer apps query the video APIs and play non-Premium videos without having the user log in?

I'm guessing this is something I'd have to talk to the admins about to get special access, but I haven't been able to contact them so far.

I packet sniffed the Video Buddy app a few months ago to figure this out. From memory, there is a hardcoded API key that the app uses for all API requests until the user logs in. I'm not sure if that is still the case, and I don't know where that API key came from (i.e. is it a agreed GBVB API Key, or just the dev's user account API key etc), but a few months ago, that's how GBVB was working.
