Why the result didn't show the original_release_date

I can't see the original_release_date in the xml by using this "http://www.giantbomb.com/api/games/?api_key=[]&format=xml&field_list=genres,name,original_release_date&sort=original_release_date:desc", but when remove the sort, I can see the original_realease_date?

Someone can help me ?

Did you compare for the same selection of games? Or do you get different results that don't have the release date yet? They could be games that haven't been released yet or don't have a release date filled in, and if you sort it descending, perhaps the ones without a releasedate are returned first, so it only seems that you don't get the releasedate.

There's so little activity in this thread here - is this project dead? Or just on hiatus?
