PC or PS4 Pro?

I bailed on AC back in Black Flag, it just never grabbed me, but all the positive opinions on Origins has me really pumped for Odyssey.

My conundrum is what platform to play it on. Normally I would grab it on PC (I have an i7 with 980), but for two things: Black Flag ran like garbage on my PC, and I recently upgraded to a nice 4k tv and PS4 pro.

How did Origins look in 4k? Was the HDR noticeable? Spider-man has been blowing my dang mind, so I'm wondering how AC will look.

My PC monitor is gsync but not 4k (or very high quality, honestly).

So where is everyone playing AC:O?

I chose to play Origins on Xbox One X rather than PC and didn't regret it for a minute. It's one of the better HDR implementations.

Not sure I'll be getting Odyssey, but if I do it'll be Xbox again.

I mainly play on PC (3440x1440p) but I bought Origins on my PS4 Pro (1080p TV with no HDR) and didn't look back. I felt the hit in frame rate and resolution, but it looked stellar, and was a smooth experience.

Any game that utilizes HDR should be played on consoles until pcs HDR support improves.

@hobozero: The HDR support for origins on PC was incredible so I'm not sure why that's the deciding factor for ps4pro. On PC you'll get whatever resolution you want, hdr, and 60fps...so why wouldn't you play on pc??

Wait until after release and see if people report issues with DRM. Or other PC port issues. If the PC port doesn't have any major problems, definitely go with it.
