Just to clarify I'm not upset. I vaguely remember this TV show. Retrospectively seeing this makes me realize it was a major Ninja Turtles knockoff. But I can't believe the 90's niche audience that's being served by this! What a weird thing to exist. Only reason I know it exists is because it was listed as 'top new releases' on the GiantBomb front page. Anyone remember anything about this show?
THIS EXISTS?!
@jpon87: I've probably seen more episodes of Biker Mice from Mars than TMNT.
Three mice from mars get shot down by fish-aliens (Plutarkians) and land in chicago. The guy in the picture is Throttle, the leader. His eyes got damaged from the blast. The grey mouse has a robotic arm and the white mouse has a metal face-plate.
Main enemy is Lawrence Limburger ( a plutarkian dressed as human).
At the end of each episode his skyscraper explodes.
The biker mice are obviously based on bikers, and a lot of the action scenes revolve around them causing awesomeness on their bikes.
Yeah this made me laugh.
When I was a kid I was TMNT crazy and even got a bit into, and had action figures for, both this and Street Sharks.

Jawesome
Yeah I also watched this although I cant remember any of the names of the mice. I watched the first few episodes of Transformers not too long ago to hype me up for Devastation and I was surprised how much of it I remembered. If this was a Platinum joint and not some endless runner i'd be up for prodding my memory again but alas.
It was actually a pretty good show, in that way that 90's cartoons with 'tude' can be cool. Having badass bikes goes a long way!
Does it exist? Do any of us exist? Existence is a state of mind bro, and in my mind's state I refute that existence.
Also Biker Mice From Mars was totally great and I had a toy of the one with the metal face, had a bike that shot rockets and everything.
@razielcuts: looks like a pretty bad one at that
@artisanbreads: Biker mice i didnt care for, but street sharks was kind of awesome
@brunoffs: Yes sir, there was! Biker Mice From Mars
The show was great, I loved it as a kid. I'll check this mobile game out.
My Christmas wish is a beat 'em up game mashup with characters from BMFM, Street Sharks and Battle Toads.
@ibarguengoytia: I KNEW I WASN'T CRAZY! Thanks =D
I remember liking that game, even though i couldn't tell you anything about it.
Man, This show was the best!
Not sure why anyone would release a mobile game based on the old the show. Maybe on the more recent one but that is also questionable.
If 2015 has proved anything its that nostalgia is weaponized. I mean, Jurassic World was a crappy movie with very few cool moments and it made well over a billion dollars and will only be beat by another movie that's using weaponized nostalgia, Star Wars.
Bike Mice from Mars, much like Street Sharks, was never good. That being said I liked them as a kid because I was a kid and I was stupid. Ninja Turtles was bad but there was some quality stuff in the comics that still holds up (and the current IDW book is fantastic). Same for Ghostbusters, except that show actually still holds up and has some fantastic writing/writers attached to it (also has a great series from IDW currently).
I would say this is banking on nostalgia, heavily...otherwise it wouldn't exist. The property was probably cheap to license and the game equally cheap to make.
Good Christ. How does this license continue to exist when we still haven't had a sequel to Toxic Crusaders?
@jpon87: I remember thinking it looked terrible and never watching it. Only heard of the game because it was developed by an Irish company. When I saw it was an endless runner and didn't look too much better than a thing I made for an unsuccessful internship application I lost any interest. I guess it's true to the series though?
I had that robot arm rat action figure too! Really enjoyed the SNES racing game. I wasn't living in the US at that time so had no idea about the tv show. I thought the action figure was based on the game.
I had an action figure of the rat with the robot arm and the villain...his human face would come off. It was dope.
Yeeesh that theme song is awful -- flat, repetitive robotic droning over some random guitar shredding.
You know, back when the show was syndicated I could have sworn that "Biker Mice from Mars" was a thinly-veiled ploy to get kids to buy Harley-Davidson brand motorcycles once they got old enough.
Pretty sure this came back with a rebooted TV series about 10 years ago and everyone gave a collective who cares. Infact right now they're trying to kick-start a reboot of SWAT Kats.
@pawsoffury: I don't remember Biker Mice from Mars at all, but I find it funny that they randomly released a gaming app for an old 90's cartoon. I do vaguely remember SWAT Kats and remember the two main cats being mechanics who became pilots if called up to fight crime. Cool that they're trying to kick-start a rebooted show for that.
I see some people mentioned Street Sharks, how about some love for Samurai Pizza Cats!
I used to get up way too early before school to watch that.
Bucky O'Hare, Street Sharks, Captain Simian and the Space Monkeys, Road Rovers, Mighty Ducks, Earthworm Jim, SWAT Kats, and I'm sure I'm forgetting a few others (not counting Darkwing/Ducktales/Rescue Rangers). The 90's were a haven for anthropomorphic cartoons.
While not animals, I always loved Mighty Max, Conan the Adventurer, King Arthur and the Knights of Justice, and Exo-Squad
@eladren: There has to be some scientific formula that proves Street Sharks is cooler than Biker Mice From Mars because it fucking is.
Yeah this made me laugh.
When I was a kid I was TMNT crazy and even got a bit into, and had action figures for, both this and Street Sharks.
The transformation scene in the first episode was what kickstarted my weird fascination with body horror...
Yeah I saw that show, I remember there being a Cat with mind powers as a villain in one episode. Some years back I saw a few episodes on youtube or whatever, and was surprised how deep it got into the lore of the mice early on and how modern the designs looked, until I realized what I was watching was some kind of recent reboot. Doh!

Now Swat Kats, there's a show with an awesome (2nd) intro!
I still remember those jams to this day!

Jesus, the music sounds like something out of Dynasty Warriors.
@bill_mcneal: loved all of the series you just mentioned when I was a kid. I remember having a few Bucky Ohare action figures for sure.
I miss the 90s so much!
