Has anyone found it really hard to get summoned, or summon people, even without a match word? I thought the servers would be heaving with folk but I've barely seen anyone, even with network set to "World-wide". It's bumming me out!
If we enter the password in the game can you still match with people without a password? Like does it just prioritize people with the password then match you randoms?

I'd like to know this too - I want to set a match word to increase my chances of bumping into some duders, but not at the expense of eliminating every other player as a potential co-op partner.
Little word of warning for people using this matching system: word on the street is that it's kinda busted. Lots of people in much bigger communities having massive problems connecting to each other, regardless of the password. One tactic people have been trying is getting on voice chat and having the 'Beckoner' ring the bell, and count to 10, then having the cooperator ring their bell. Still not guaranteed or anything, and this is all done without using a password, but it's the best we got for now.
I've beaten Dark Souls and nearly Dark Souls 2 before Bloodborne came out and I had to shelf it momentarily. Been having a little trouble adjusting to some of the changes in Bloodborne. Currently on Darkbeast Paarl. Wouldn't mind helping out with some of the earlier bosses as well. I know some of them can be a pain.
