Who is Buying a PS4 for This?

Finally a worthwhile game for me personally to buy a next gen console. It's quite a bit of a money invesement, but i was going to buy one anyway for Persona 5, Uncharted 4 and other console multiplats.

Bought a PS4 already, just happy that this is coming to it. If I had to pick a game I "bought" the PS4 for, it would be Persona 5, but I didn't know it was going to eventually be on the console, I was just hoping.

I am indeed trying to save to get this one , this along Witcher 3 are the reasons for me to get a PS4

Certainly helped sway my decision. This game's aesthetic speaks to me so hard. I almost don't care if it's good or bad, as long as I can blissfully roam around that world.

It was definitely one of the games that helped me purchase one last year. But, I dunno. So far the game has looked vary same-y with it's aesthetic. I hope there's an Anor Londo-esque area later in the game, as far as there being a complete aesthetic change.

I've never tried any of the Souls games and won't play this either, but I am looking forward to watching someone else play it.

I already have a PS4, but had no intention of buying Bloodborne until I finally gave Dark Souls a serious shot over the holiday when the Steamworks update came out. After 50-ish hours with the game, I'm definitely glad that I have a PS4 so I can play Bloodborne when it comes out.

I already did, but it was essentially for Bloodborne + Destiny

When I do, it'll probably be for this game.

Well, that and Persona 5.

With Target and Sony closing all their Canadian stores I'm gonna be on the lookout for some liquidation sales. Hopefully I can grab one, but if not then I'll wait till there is at least a second game I want.

This, Persona 5, and No Man's Sky did it for me. Should be a great game.

Yea, there has been nothing I wanted for PS4 so this will finally be a reason to pick one up. This gen has had such an awful start. Xbox one wasnt much of a better choice. Really havent gotten a lot of use out of it. Hope this is good!

I really want to play it. Just not in a 400€ kinda way. I don't know what else to get for a PS4 to justify that purchase.

Bloodborne and Deep Down are the two main reasons I bought a PS4 so yeah.

@asilentprotagonist: I could, but with Target and Sony Style going out of business I'd expect them to be getting rid of inventory at 70 to 80% off. Futureshop and EB aren't in that dire financial situation.

yeah pretty much, bought one over the christmas break, but this was one of the prime factors in going with the ps4, could turn out badly cause I have been on complete media blackout for the game since the anouncement

I heard all 133 Canadian Target stores were going to be closed within 2 weeks, but I can't imagine they'll get rid of the inventory that fast. Stuff will be discounted soon and the closer we get to the last day the cheaper stuff will get.

Or they could sell their entire inventory wholesale to some other store, like Winners or XS Cargo. It's a wait and see game now.

I am! I've been wanting to buy one since they came out, but haven't been able to afford it. Getting one for Bloodborne, even if I have to sell a kidney.

@mosespippy: I went to Target today and while a lot of their stuff was discounted (got a bunch of shirts for $10 each) nothing in the electronics section was.

It was a big factor in my decision to buy a PS4.

No cause I already own one but if I didn't this wouldn't be the thing I'd buy it for. Haven't been terribly impressed by Bloodborne.

Bought a PS4 for Killzone: Shadow Fall. Happy with it for all of that other good shit that's coming out. Bought an Xbone for Sunset Overdrive. Happy with it for all of that other good shit that's coming out.

Not me. If Bloodborne came to the PC that would be great, but if not then I'm ignoring it just like every other console exclusive.

As a big Souls games fan it pains me to say but the PS4 simply does not have enough games I want yet for the purchase to be viable. At the moment I'm pretty much at 1-2 games (The Last of Us Remastered and possibly Bloodborne).

It's a shame but spending that kind of money on 1 game is just not wise. Not to mention that Sony now also wants extra money for online play.

I would have for this and Witcher 3 last fall, but then I didn't need to, huzzah. I'm actually pretty stoked for Dark Souls 2 GoTY edition since I never got around to getting the DLCs.

I am. Probably the sole reason. Though I might not have the money to buy 'em both on release day. Might have to wait a bit. Which sucks, since I have only ever been present for the DS2 launch day, and that was kind of a wet blanket, with a ton of people seemingly getting the game very early or already knowing a lot of tricks. Not to mention the fucking strategy guide that spelled out almost everything...

While this game is certainly tempting, I still refuse to go next gen until I finish off the stack of 44 unstarted PS3 games on my desk. Or at least half of it. I hope 2016's lineup is good...

Eh. I want Demon's Souls 4, but it's not like I haven't played it already. I dislike consoles and their online networks too much and find the games too expensive. Plus, I'd need to get a monitor with HDMI and headphone jacks, because there's no way I'm playing this with my crappy PlayStation headset. Maybe when it's inevitably a series.

Already got this sucker pre-ordered. I'm looking forward to getting a fresh Souls experience and the gameplay they've shown so far looks like a nice twist on the formula.

Not me. Never really cared for the Souls series and nothing about this game looks appealing to me at all. I hope it turns out good and people enjoy it though, especially when so many have bought a PS4 just to play it.

Nope, so far I am happy with my Xbox One, there has to be more interesting exclusives for the PS4 (for me) before I'll take the plunge on that.

But when I do, I will probably get Bloodborne in the first batch of games for it.
