Any episodes you recommend?

I'm not sure it's a good idea, but I'm planning a 10 hour Bombcast marathon to get me through work tomorrow. Any suggestions? I've been listening for years but no specific dates spring to mind. If not I'll just grab some random stuff. There are no sub-par Bombcasts.

The 7-21-2009 episode has one of my favorite Ryan moments. He yells at the gang for defending Renny Harlin movies and yells that he doesn't want to work with them anymore. Also had the amazing discussion about the night vision goggles coming with MW2.

I always liked the one where they go on about corporate twitter accounts like RC Cola or Pepsi or Hyatt Regency. It's also got California Extreme discussion. I think it's somewhere around late summer 2011.

There's also the hummingbird mask and HAM radio one from spring 2012.

The guy at This Year podcast did a damn fine job.

Cannot recommend this year podcasts enough. They do a wonderful job of curating the best moments of the cast. They also have a ton of podcasts of the guys from when they were with gamespot. There is more then 10hrs worth of great content there.

Oh man, the Gatoraid review at the beginning of the very first episode is sooo great.

The second/third ever episodes of the Arrow Pointing Down podcast. E3 2011 (Day 2 is the best, I think?). The episode in 2009 where they have Giancarlo AKA "Game COP" on. The episode with Jeff Green in Late Summer/Fall of 2010. The first Bombcast from 2012 (Bug-out bags and such). The 08-07-2012 show (with the "Chris with the white car" story plus other great bits). The Thanksgiving episode with Dave and Alex (11-25-2008).

The This Year podcasts contain many of the greatest moments of the bombcast and are really skilffully edited together.

There are also a bunch of youtube playlists floating around made up of choice bits and pieces from bombcasts over the years.

Here are 9 hours of pure, uncut bombcast clip drip (my personal playlist). There are some overlapping clips but most of it is fresh.

I was at work today, and since my job is basically filling out a one page form as I watch people do real work I got some time to think back to some deep cuts. I remembered something that likely many of you have not heard. I've always thought that the podcast they did after the site launch was great. They were all so excited, happy and overwhelmed by the response that the site got in its early days.

Seconding the This Year collection, also get the E3 specials, PAX specials, and their 2008 trip to Tokyo (10-7 to 10-12)

gotta just go through all of them really, its what i started doing a few weeks ago, up to july 2008 as they are so long and havent got loads of spare time

I decided a couple months ago to go back and listen to them all, and I am a couple years in now... but now that all this happened I don't know if I can bare to listen anymore. I want to so bad but it hurts. I miss Ryan. :(

I decided to really go back and listen to all of them. For the most part it makes me feel better to hear him having a great time with his friends, but every so often it hits me and I have to turn it off.

Also, that's an awesome deep cut, mosespippy, I can't wait to listen to that.

The 3-20-12 episode is one of my favorites, when the crew moved into the new CBSi studios and were fuckin around with all the new equipment for the first 20-30 minutes or so. Highly recommended for a long trip :P

One of my favorites was when Jeff and I think Ryan were at an event and they walked from their hotel to a nearby movie theater to see a Fast and the Furious movie. The story they tell about how everyone were driving like idiots after the movie in the parking lot mimicking what they just saw was priceless. Jeff is a great story teller. I can't remember which episode it was so if anyone knows it'd be great. I want to listen to it again.

Anything that ends in 08 or 09.

I'm listening to the 08/07/2012 bombcast, its just raw vinny, jeff and ryan. The chemistry between those 3 are amazing.

Really love the first couple episodes the dynamic between Jeff and Ryan and rotating guests discussing drinks as the company kind of formed around them. The Renny Harlin debate episode was really great as someone else already mentioned. Actually the first couple years of the BombCast has a ton of winners. Too many to count.
