If you have been listening to the Bombcast since back in the day when it was called the Arrow Pointing Down podacst, you'll know that Gatorade Tiger is what started the podcast's tradition of tasting energy drinks. For all we know, it might actually be the sole reason behind the creation of the very first podcast which was the first step in the creation of the site we know and love today. Well, fellow giantbombers, I have some sad news for you.. Gatorade Tiger is no more. PepsiCo has announced that it is going to discontinue its Gatorade Tiger Focus drink and said that this decision was not related to recent revelations about the golfer's private life. Let us all have a moment of silence in memory of this great drink.

Even though I stick to original Gatorade, I dont see why this is news. The article even mentions that someone reported this, basically showing that this article is just a reposting, only a couple days before the crash. So it is not related.

I've never even heard about Tiger Woods Gatorade...all they have here is the crappy G2 gatorades, I used to drink the frost and rain ones all the time in Cross Country..

Must not be popular in Southeast U.S. I guess..

I and all of my friends stopped buying Tiger when they stopped supplying stores in my town with the purple variety. So they killed it off long before this point, IMO.

I drink gatorade after working out because I am really thirsty. However I wasn't aware gatorade was used for golf because I don't find golf to be a strenous activity.
