Really guys, from nearly two hours to two hours of podcast? There is just no way I can have the time to listen to everything in a week, even going to the gym and driving around...
Maybe it works for a lot of people but for me it just feels stretched. An hour of podcast is fine, more is just the crew talking random which is probably fun for yo but for the average listener is boring.
Is the truth, maybe you can agree or disagree.
I have to say this: Bombcast is too long
Who is the average listener of the Bombcast? I'd think it would be people that love to hear the randomness.
" You cant fit two hours of podcasting into a week? "Indeed. 2 Hours is a perfect length. The longer the better in my book, mainly because when they are longer there are more random, awesome tangents. I listen to them on the bus and during journeys that I'll be taking anyway, so there is more than enough time in my book. Everyone has easily enough time to listen to the bombcast twice in a week in walking journeys/bus rides/train rides etc.
Man, I love the bombcast. I have a big drive a couple times a week. I like hearing their separate opinions on the video game issues of the day, even if it makes for a longer format.
I prefer it to the Hotspot. The Hotspot usually felt a little rushed.
Is the truth, maybe you can agree or disagree. "Wh---what? "It's the truth"....but the majority of the active users listen to it. Not only that, but guys from my school who have never had an interest in gaming sites like this have started listening to the Bombcast on a regular basis after I showed them. Some of them even found it by themselves! Obviously, there is a positive vibe about the Bombcast going around and the mix of video game discussion and pure randomness is part of it.
I love the Bombcast and I prefer it to be at least 2 hours. The random discussion is the best part of it, and, seriously, who can complain when they are talking about a battle between fucking bears, T-Rex's and sharks!!!!
Wrong. Two hours is fine. Even the longer ones that happen over E3 times and thing like that are fine.
If it were less than 2 hrs we wouldn't get the weird tangents they go off on or all the hilarious moments that make the bombcast so much more than your average podcast.
If the guys kept having to watch the clock the conversation would evolve naturally, they'd be constantly pressed to move on the next subject.
I was really happy when they started going over an hour, I always wanted an awesome podcast where they guys who did it would go as long as they needed to. None of this "oh we have to fit it all into one hour" bull shit. Podcasts like that always seem forced, and rushed. I love the GB cast and would have it no other way.
Not long enough lol; listen to it in one day at work. Actually feel its perfect for timing and junk, really wish though the guys played older games from time to time with the what are you playing bit guess being a reviewer you gotta go with the new.
Please don't listen to this post GB team. While I appreciate everyone should have an opinion on the site I'm perfectly happy with the 2 hour-ish podcasts and don't want to see them any shorter unless entirely neccessary (based on time constraints for recording etc).

But seriously, just try and fit it in as best you can
The length of the podcast is fine. It might be cool to hear an unedited version every once in a while so it was longer and a little more random.
What is boring is a podcast that is strictly about videogames. 2 hours is fine, in fact I'm kind of dissapointed if its not two hours. lol
So long as it's entertaining, I don't mind the length. Gives me something to listen to on my Shuffle at work.
