Premium Podcasts: iTunes keeps asking for my password

So I'm using iTunes to load the premium podcasts on my ipod, and I gave itunes the following link:

http://www.giantbomb.com/podcast-xml/premium/

I have entered my user name and password several times and checked the box in iTunes "Remember Password" and it generally works ... I can usually download podcasts, but 5 minutes later it asks for my password again. This has been happening on and off for months, but magically fixes itself on occasion. Has anyone else seen this? How do I fix this on OS X.9.5?

I used to get this too but on windows, I just deleted the podcast then added it again and it fixed it.

Try putting the feed into iTunes with this format:

http://username:password@www.giantbomb.com/podcast-xml/premium/

That should hopefully work.

https://username:password@www.giantbomb.com/podcast-xml/premium/

instead of

http://username:password@www.giantbomb.com/podcast-xml/premium/

(note the https)
