Having it auto embiggen on load isn't a good look. I like embiggened videos on the actual video pages, but not in the top banner.
This is something I'm still experiencing as well. The homepage saves both the embiggen and the pin setting from the video pages. The old player ignored the setting for the video embedded on the homepage.
