Can't Deselect Highlighted Text on Mobile

For reference I'm on a Moto z droid edition, android 7.0, chrome.

Title says it all. Can't deselect text that's been highlighted. Usually this is done by tapping anywhere on the screen that isn't a link, but no dice here. Tried many other sites and none of them have this issue.

Actually this isn't totally true. If you copy the highlighted text that does deselect it. A non-issue really, but I figured I'd point it out anyway.

@rongalaxy: Huh, that's a weird one. I can't guarantee it will be a high priority fix but I will try to get it looked at.
