iOS: Why does background audio stop when browsing the site?

Hi all,

Got a question about browsing the site on my iOS devices. When I have music, podcasts, or any other background audio playing around - it stops when I browse giantbomb.com, as if the website was autoplaying a video. However, nothing is actually playing on the website. Do you know what could be causing this?

It happens to me too, only when I click on a page with a video in it (or if a video is featured on the main page).

It also happens on gamespot, so my guess is that it’s an issue with the video player.
