Notification lights up when there are no new notifications

As explained in the title, my notification tab/thing in the top right keeps lighting up each time I reload the site, even though there isn't anything new. I can mouse over it to return the bell icon back to the normal grey color, but upon refreshing the page it reverts back to white/red.

W7 Firefox 65.0.1 (Most recent standard version), if that's helpful.

I had a 'new' notification today, but the last notification in the list was from Feb 7th. There was no red indicator yesterday.

Although for me, it has not reverted on refresh.

I think we rolled out some new notifications work today; I'll see if this can be looked into!

@rorie: Whatever it was, it seems like it worked. As of writing this, the problem seems to have gone away. Thank the team for me, if you would!
