I tried looking up similar posts, but anything I find brings up page 404, so I don't know if this has been covered before.
It's a weird, annoying issue I've had for a long time now. It'd be nice to get this feature working again.
Problem
Using progressive mode, I hit play to initialise the player then hit pause to load the rest of the video, but seconds later the network activity drops to zero, so there's effectively no buffering going on. Hit play again and it starts up fine.
This happens on my laptop, and my desktop PC (both Win 8.1), even reinstalled Windows recently on one. Disabled all extensions on Chrome (Version 65.0.3325.181) and Firefox. Tried different video qualities too. My broadband's around 3 Mbps/down.
I get the following error messages in the Chrome console when I hit play.
