Premium Bombcast and Beastcast artwork not showing

When I search Google I see plenty of topics about this but it seems like the issue gets fixed and then pops back up.

I'm using Pocket Casts (because I listen on multiple devices and it syncs my progress across them). But it has a UI that only shows the podcast artwork rather than the podcast names. And for some reason the premium podcasts aren't getting the correct podcast art (they're getting a default image instead). This makes it hard to navigate as you see below.

The way I added the feed was using a URL like: https://SHADOWsoldier:PASSWORD@www.giantbomb.com/podcast-xml/beastcast-premium

I tried http instead of https, I tried auth.giantbomb.com instead of www.giantbomb.com. They all successfully added the podcast feed but with the wrong art.

I noticed that I sometimes get a white version of the default image and other times black. But never the normal art. I also get a default image when I add the non-premium version of the beastcast but get the proper "tongue bomb" image when I add the normal bombcast.

The most curious thing is that the "Premium Podcasts" feed comes up 100% fine, with the correct image and I'm adding it the exact same way. Can someone please look into this? I can deal with the issue. It's just annoying.

As far as I can tell this is only an issue with Pocketcasts. I believe we've looked into the RSS files themselves and have verified that they're serving the right art, as far as I can recollect. If it's only an issue with this one app I would have to assume that the issue is on their side; maybe they're caching old art for some reason? You may want to contact their support email and see if they have any leads.

For what it's worth. This now seems to be operating correctly...
