Premium videos not showing video controls

This is on an iPad and I tried in both chrome and Safari

Trying to watch the latest play date and I can't see the progress bar or button to make it full screen

@garris: That's strange, what happens when you tap on the video? do the controls show up then?

@wcarle: no it just pauses, if I double tap it zooms to fit the screen but does not display controls

I have been having the same problem for the last month at least.

This has been a problem for me too

I've been having this randomly off and on for ages on Waterfox with just any video, not only premium ones. Eventually (like halfway through the video) it'll load in and start working again, but otherwise I have to use the browser's in-built video controls to pause etc.
