That is the first thing I thought when I saw that image...

I don't see what's wrong with this image.

That looks cool. I want a Giant Bomb bar on my desktop.

I'm just testing out the new responsive design. It's supposed to handle cases like this to work on phones and tablets. Just thought I should report it.

It isn't laid out the same on phones and tablets, though.

@believer258: That's the point of responsive design.

Anyway, the reason is that they are using the image below for all ratings and using CSS positioning based on which rating. When reduced to that size the visible portion of the image changes to be closer to the bottom.

EDIT: On a side note, I think it's interesting that the image even has 0 stars on the bottom since Giant Bomb's lowest score is 1 star.

Hm. I wonder if they deliberately made that decision, or if it was more of a "just in case a game this shitty comes along". In any case, it's certainly proof that Alex had his say on the new design.
