Are you using the site player or YouTube? GB has no control over ads appearing on the YouTube version of videos, so you'll need to make sure you're using the site player if you don't want to see ads.
@chaser324: It’s YouTube but as far as I can tell that’s the only way to watch videos on PC anymore. I don’t see anywhere to change this now that they’ve redesigned it. On mobile it uses the GB player and there’s no option there to switch to YouTube.
