Sometimes when I go to download a video I'm seeing times like this for a 2 hour video.

No Caption Provided

As you can see in the image my internet speed is fine. It just seems like GB is very slow sometimes? Are yall going to fix that ever? I don't want to wait 10 hours to watch Murder Island.

(I'd stream it but, another issue, Giant Bomb's player buffers like a motherfucker. With non-premium videos I usually go to Youtube so as to avoid buffering, but not an option for premium videos.)

Both things have been happening randomly for a while. Both are very annoying.

I am having basically the same issue. The download speeds are super slow, but more importantly, I can't stream the videos either. I'm on university wired internet. Speed test showing about 300 Mbps. The site itself runs fine.

Edit: On Chrome. I can get HTML5 low quality to load, but that's all, and even it stops frequently. Progressive does not work at all. Downloading videos presents basically the same problem.

The university does block known bad sites (it gets its lists from their vendor... I'm forgetting which one right now (I used to work in campus IT)). Perhaps the media servers/CDNs have been accidentally added to a blacklist?

Second edit: I don't use any extensions at all, including ad blockers.
