Window 10, Firefox version 72.0.2 (64-bit)

When viewing the front page (www.giantbomb.com) there is a horizontal scroll bar that allows for a wide scroll. There does not seem to be any visible content causing the page to stretch out.

And a screenshot of the page when scrolled all the way to the right.

@beforet: Hmm, I'm not seeing this myself. What resolution are you running at?

Seeing this too on videos. It's problematic when using the right arrow keyboard key to fast forward playback. Scrolls the video player out of view

I'm seeing this also on front page on Safari 13.0.4 on MacOS 10.15.2. It also has happened on video pages. It's not something you'd be as likely to run into using a mouse but if you swipe sideways using a trackpad it's pretty easy to cause to happen.

I'm also seeing this in Safari 13.0.5 on Mac. It seems to be an issue regardless of window size.

Didn't have this happen when the thread was posted, but it started happening just a few minutes ago here too. Firefox 72.0.2 64-bit / Windows 10.

I'm having this issue as well.

Windows 10 v2004, Firefox 72.0.2 64-bit. Happens on both 1440p and 4k screens.

I did a little poking around in the FF devtools for funsies and it looks like the carousels are rendering some elements really far out to the right (but not visibly). When deleting some of the nodes of the kind selected in the screenshot here the page width shrunk a bit.

I used this answer to find these elements: https://stackoverflow.com/a/44243400

Can't say for sure the root cause, but hopefully this is helpful info for the team.

This should be resolved now, but let me know if it persists for anyone.

@rorie: Hey there! This has been fixed for me on Windows 10 and macOS 10.14 in Chrome, but the issue still persists on macOS 10.14 in Safari, on video pages and the front page.

This is still happening on the homepage for me in Safari for iPadOS (iPadOS 13.4 - iPad Pro 11”, Late 2018). Toggling from “request desktop site” mode to ”request mobile site” mode cures it for that session on the homepage, though curiously if I set Safari to automatically request mobile site for Giant Bomb by default, it still happens and I have to toggle into “request desktop” and then back to “request mobile” to make it display correctly.

Edit: I normally use an App for Giant Bomb videos on my iPad, but I see up-thread that this also occurs for people on Video pages, so I tried that out and it’s the same behaviour as I described above for the home page.
