I'm not entirely sure if this is a bug... I'm just assuming it's not by design. The new overlay that appears when you hover over a stopped video has a big scroll bar in the middle of it.

There's nothing to scroll through and it just looks kind of bad. I'm on the latest version of Firefox.

Yep, have this too. Only in Firefox, not in Chrome, so I assume it's a bug as well.

This bug was also present in the beta, and it was reported. I guess it's low priority, considering it doesn't really break anything; it's just very ugly.

The problem is the "overflow-y: scroll" and it's present in both Firefox 63.0.1 and Edge (42.17134.1.0, EdgeHTML 17.17134). I guess you are only testing on Chrome, that doesn't really follow the standard properly in this case (https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/CSS/overflow). Here's a screenshot of the issue and the code related to it:

Just changing it to "overflow-y: auto" on the "episode-info" section solves the issue, is standards compliant and shouldn't cause any side effects.

Hope this helps solve the issue quickly :)

Same problem here. I understand chrome is the most popular browser now but please don't forget about us firefox users.

@midsummerstorm: How were you able to debiggen the video in your screenshot?

Aware of this and are working on a fix (or it may be out now?) Fear not - it's imminent.

Seems to be fixed now in both Firefox and Edge. Thanks!

@chrjz: The size of the player depends on available vertical space. The only way to change it is to make the browser window shorter or taller.
