Was asked to consider a paid subscription on login

I didn't see this in the Known Issues post, so I thought it best to put it here.

I logged in on my phone, accepted some invalid SSL certs (probably not the brightest thing I've ever done), and got an email asking me to verify the account. I clicked the link, and was taken to the monthly/yearly subscription page. I'm already a paid subscriber, so that's why this post exists.

I'm on my Android smartphone using Chrome. Not that it should make a difference anymore, but just another point of data to add.

I did the same thing and got the same email. I am just going to ignore it for now and hope that my account doesn't blow up.
